Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: September 18, 2026

Lone Star Acquisitions is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, rely on magnification, or need reduced motion. We treat accessibility as part of build quality, not as an add-on.

Conformance target

This site is built to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We assess conformance by manual keyboard and screen-reader testing together with automated checks that run on every change to the site.

We use no accessibility overlay, plugin, or pop-up widget. Overlays do not fix the underlying markup and frequently interfere with the assistive technology a visitor already uses. Accessibility here is built into the pages themselves.

What we have implemented

  • Skip to content. A skip link is the first focusable element on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
  • Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element — links, buttons, the mobile menu, form fields and the back-to-top button — is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, in a logical order.
  • Visible focus. A high-contrast focus ring is shown on every focusable element. We never remove focus styling.
  • Colour contrast. All text meets at least 4.5:1 against its background (3:1 for large text). Where our brand palette fell short of that ratio, the colour was shifted to the nearest compliant shade rather than used as-is. No text is faded with opacity to look muted.
  • Semantic structure. Each page has exactly one <h1> and a heading order with no skipped levels, inside landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer).
  • Images. Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms. Every field has a programmatically associated label, required fields are marked in text as well as colour, and errors and confirmations are announced through a live region.
  • Reduced motion. Scroll animations are disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
  • Zoom and reflow. Content reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels and remains readable at 200% zoom.
  • Current page. The active navigation item is marked programmatically with aria-current, not by colour alone.

Known limitations

We are honest about the parts we do not fully control:

  • Google Maps embed. The interactive map on our contact page is a third-party Google component and we cannot change its internal markup. The same address is also written out as plain text next to it, so no information is available only through the map.
  • reCAPTCHA. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, a third-party component. It offers an audio alternative to the visual check. If it still prevents you from submitting a form, contact us by email or phone and we will take your information directly.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site blocks you, we want to hear about it — your report is the fastest way for us to fix a real problem. Please tell us the page address and what went wrong.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and will tell you our plan and timeline for a fix. If you need information from this site in a different format, ask us and we will provide it.
